Volunteer and Change a Life, Starting With Your Own!
Voluntary service is the backbone of the American Red Cross and volunteers constitute 96 percent of our total workforce. Volunteers are involved in all aspects of the organization and they play a crucial role in carrying out the Red Cross mission of helping the community prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.
We are constantly in awe at the level of commitment and dedication our volunteers display in serving both the Red Cross and their community. To witness their spirit of generosity, unselfish commitment to serving others and passion for volunteerism are incredibly inspiring. We are grateful they have chosen to share their time and talents with the Greater Manchester Chapter.
